HAPPY 3RD BIRTHDAY SOPHIES SHOP

Wow!! Three years ago Sophies Shop opened its doors after an amazing whirlwind of less than a week from idea to reality!!
We cannot thank everyone enough for supporting Sophie’s Shop in the last 3 years. It has grown from strength to strength and plays a huge part in us being able to fund the Children’s arm of the hospice and continue Sophie’s wish to help other children.
The shop would not be possible without the dedication of Sophie’s Nan, Aunties and of course her mum. We thank them for all their hard work over the last few years. Days in the shop, weekends in the shop, nights in the shop, nights at home, evenings at home – so much time and effort by such wonderful people have turned it into something we never thought possible.
November for us as a family is tough and as each year passes it gets no easier. We miss our little Butterfly and nothing comes close to filling the gap she left 3 years ago this month.
We try to fill November now with positive things and are looking forward to the events coming up which include Schools Mufti days throughout the month, Sophie’s Christmas Shop opening, Sophie’s friends Cake sale in the shop, and The Hospice Christmas Fayre to name but a few.
To our darling daughter and beloved sister – we continue to ache for you in a way I cannot describe. So many times we have struggled to find the courage to go on….& yet we do. And this is down to the love we have for you Sophie. That love gives us a strength that carries us. Without it I know I for one would falter.
We shall continue to wake each day and sleep each night and fill the time in between as best we can. This life is all too fleeting and though some fear life’s passing we know that our time to be together once again is drawing ever closer.
