Another November, another reminder, not that we need them, that another year has passed without Sophs.
As always we try our utmost to make November memorable. After all that’s all we are destined to become….memories. Some of us much sooner than others.
Sophie’s family have been working hard to make sure the Christmas Shop is ready for tomorrows big opening. Her friends have again made sure there is even more to tempt you in. Sophies friend Zara will be selling handmade Christmas Decorations and her cousins Leisha and Brooke will be selling Christmas Sweet Bags.
So much has happened in the last nine years. The world keeps on turning long after we are gone. Sophie’s big brother recently started his next chapter at Bournemouth Uni….he continues to make us proud and we know his little sister is keeping a watchful eye over him.
When you lose someone you’ll be told you will survive. That life goes on. And it’s true. You do and it does. You’ll find a way. It won’t be easy but it will happen. What they don’t realise, but you soon come to, is that surviving and living are not the same thing.
This life we live without you Sophs has changed us. How could it not? You were the best of all of us, and once you went so went so much from the people that loved you. And you were loved. Unconditionally. From the moment we saw those crystal blue eyes you were destined to be in our hearts forever.
Nine years since you closed those eyes on this world. Nine years since our hearts shattered.
Nine years since our lives changed forever.
One thing that will never change is the love we still have for you. Not nine, 90 or 900 years will ever change that.
We hope tomorrow we will carry on your wish of raising pennies for other children. Sophie’s Christmas Shop opens at 0900. The shelves are full and we would love to see you there…
